Craftivism: the gentle and beautiful art of protest.

Learn about craftivism - the movement, principles and projects - in this workshop with Terri Clauss.

Supplies and instruction will be provided to create one of four types of crafts with a message of change, equity, protest, or peace. Commit to leaving them in the wild where they might reach the right person at the right time.

About the Artist

Terri Clauss is a lifelong artist and creative. She lives in Indianapolis with her husband, Fred and cat, Lily. She's happy to be spending most of her time as an artist after a career in English language instruction.

You can find her often at Lille Bønne hosting the free open art table to re-connect people with their spirit of play, provide mini art tutorials, and coach them in the use of art for relaxation.

Her "Beautiful America" community mural project smiles down at activity participants in the Lille Bønne community room and her colorful nature-based art can be seen at Fountain Square Brewery, Magpie Artspace, and occasional art markets, as well as left around the city to spark a little joy.
